The Joint Mobile Virtual Dome (JMVD) is a low-cost collaborative visualization tool leveraging commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) technology including the iPad 2 and standard Windows laptops. JMVD is DIS-compliant and may be federated with other constructive and virtual simulators. JMVD was developed for the Fires Centers of Excellence (FCoE) Fire Artillery school.
