The Future Combat Systems (FCS) Mobile Demonstration Trailer (MDT) is an interactive, individual combat platform simulator of FCS mounted combat. With six motion-platform chairs inside a specially-constructed semi-trailer, visitors can take the role of Mounted Combat System (MCS) driver and/or gunner, employing a range of unique FCS capabilities. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV), and networked, Non-Line of Sight (NLOS) and Beyond-Line of Sight (BLOS) fires are but a few of the systems and capabilities users may employ to engage and destroy the enemy. Using the latest in entertainment software image generation and graphics coupled with the Army’s premier verified validated and accredited (VV&A;) ground simulation driver, One-SAF, the MDT gives non-technical and professional users alike a vivid experience of FCS combat.
