Inspired Army science supports the American Soldier. This video was used as the curtain raiser at the 25th Army Science Conference in Orlando, Florida. The video focuses on the role of Army Science from the very first Army Science Conference in 1957 and a threat-based Research and Development investment model to the post-cold war era capabilities based R&D; model. Army Chief Scientist, Dr. Thomas H. Killion and the Army Director for Research and Laboratory Management, Dr. John A. Parmentola narrate an inspiring story of the role Army science plays in the fighting and winning of the Nation’s war’s both current and future. CTI principals conceived, created and directed this visualization while at the University of Southern California’s Institute for Creative Technologies. This video was created through the use of stock footage from public and licensed, private sources.
