Marking CTI’s entry into the classified realm, the U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) contracted for the development and delivery of a “gamification” capability for the fleet’s sonar system, the AN/’SQQ-89A (V) 15. Commonly termed the SQQ-89, the system is in wide-spread use in both the surface and subsurface fleet.
As the system is classified, CTI has established a new facility at the University of Central Florida’s Business Incubator for the new project. With our sponsor, the Integrated Warfare Systems Program Executive Office, the team is working through the approval process to accept and manage secret content under the direction of incoming CTI Director of Security, Michael Bush. As development proceeds, CTI will be working closely with Lockheed Martin, prime contractor for the A(V)15 program.
